A few months ago, whilst on holiday in Croatia, we made a couple of day trips to the city of Dubrovnik.
Dubrovnik is a beautiful city, well known for its medieval architecture, stunning coastline, and rich history. Many people know of Dubrovnik from Game of Thrones (which, I have to confess, I've never seen), as many scenes from the series, were filmed here.
There is so much to see in Dubrovnik. The walled Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's easy to while away many hours wandering the narrow streets, taking in the incredible buildings, stopping occasionally for coffee, an ice cream, or a cold beer.
Dubrovnik also has a basketball court located within the old city walls. The court has stunning views over the rooftops and out to sea.
If you are ever in Croatia, I highly recommend visiting Dubrovnik.
