A couple of weeks ago, I returned to Epsom Racecourse to photograph the food to be served in the Chez Roux restaurant during the Epsom Derby. Whilst I was there, I captured some "behind the scenes" images. You can see them here . However, the real reason I was there was to provide the food photography to promote the amazing food developed by Chef Claude, Michel Roux and the team. And it really did look great!

Over the years, I have photographed many, many menu tastings at various restaurants and venues. The head chefs will write and meticulously plan the menus months in advance. They will carefully select the ingredients, very often locally sourced and seasonal. They will consider every detail, right down to the plate on which the food will be served and how it’s plated.
