During our holiday in Croatia this year, we took a day trip to Mostar. Mostar is the fifth-largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It is known for its stunning Stari Most (Old Bridge), which was rebuilt in 2004 after being destroyed during the Bosnian War.
We took a guided tour of the old town and bridge. The tour was amazing, shocking, and very emotional.
We didn't have long in Mostar, but we did walk around the old town with its cobblestone streets and traditional shops and got to sample some delicious food.
There's still so much we want to see of the city and the local area. We're already planning a trip back to Mostar for a long weekend.
