Capturing "The Moment" - Engagement Photography
A couple of weeks ago, I was asked if I could capture the surprise moment when Uriah proposed to his now-fiancée, Jodie. No pressure then! Uriah contacted me a few weeks ago, and we hatched the plan. He was due to visit Bourton-on-the-Water for a romantic weekend break with Jodie. I was to sit in waiting near the bridge that we had pre-arranged and capture the big moment when he popped the question. The weather was great, and the location was perfect for an engagement proposa

The Cheltenham Festival 2025 - Food and Hospitality Photography
And, just like that, the sun sets on another Cheltenham Gold Festival. This was a big one for me, as it was my 10th Festival I have photographed for Jockey Club Catering and The Jockey Club. As I'm getting older, they don't get any easier. Over the four days, I added over 70,000 steps to my step count. And I'm sure the camera bag gets heavier every year. But the excitement is still there. The enormity of the event, along with the incredible food and hospitality, never ceases

A couple of days in Dubrovnik, Croatia...
A few months ago, whilst on holiday in Croatia, we made a couple of day trips to the city of Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is a beautiful city, well known for its medieval architecture, stunning coastline, and rich history. Many people know of Dubrovnik from Game of Thrones (which, I have to confess, I've never seen), as many scenes from the series, were filmed here. There is so much to see in Dubrovnik. The walled Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's easy to while away many

Travel Photography in Kupari, Croatia
A few weeks ago, we visited a town called Kupari in Croatia. Kupari is a former tourist resort south of Dubrovnik. It was once a popular destination for Yugoslavian tourists but was abandoned during the Croatian War of Independence from 1991 to 1995. The resort is now in a state of disrepair, but it is still a popular destination for tourists and photographers. The abandoned hotels and other buildings, with their crumbling walls and overgrown vegetation, offer a haunting remi
