A few weeks ago, we got together with Lucy and Dean on a wet Rodborough Common for their pre-wedding photo shoot. And, wet is an understatement. We all had a great time, and the cows didn’t seem to mind. You can see that post here.
Last weekend was Lucy and Dean‘s big wedding day. And once again, it was wet. However, that certainly didn’t dampen anybody’s spirits. This is what I love about shooting weddings: everybody is there to have a good time, no matter what the weather brings.
We arrived at Lucy's family home early in the morning to capture all the bridal preparations and details, before making our way to Egypt Mill in Nailsworth. We caught up with Dean and the boys to capture some images before Lucy's arrival. Lucy soon arrived and looked stunning. We still had time to capture some images with her bridesmaids and Dad before the ceremony.
It had been planned for the wedding to take place in the garden, unfortunately, the weather had other ideas! So, the ceremony was moved to the Garden Room, and it was perfect.
As the day progressed, the rain passed, and the guests were able to go outside to take part in the garden games.
Overall, a chilled and relaxed day, which reflected perfectly on Lucy and Dean.
Here are a few images from the day.
